... for him the main goal was never money, it was the wonderful things that he learnt in life and the awesome people that he got to know... his dream was about to realize: that he knew more people and had more comrades than anyone at his age and in his circle of friends.

then for some time everything was benign, in harmony and in peace, so he questioned himself: “is it what you want? isn’t it too quiet? ... too routine?” his inner monster needed a new challenge. he looked around and said to himself: “what the heck ... let’s move!” that was easy to say, hard to perform though. he didn’t know what is expecting him there, somewhere out of his comfort zone, beyond his reach, above his conquered levels ... he had only one thing in mind; that was his power to abandon the fears and encounter his new passion: broaden his horizon and sneak inexperienced bits and pieces of life, get lost and explore himself ... to confront himself ... the new guy ... who he never had a chance to know that close.

the place he picked to live was somewhere with great scenery and soft converge of major cultures and individuals. that was invaluable experience for him and even for those who did not accompany him ... they all discovered how to lose their prejudice and love others unconditionally …

Special Summer Fares: Bam – Nosrat Abad

Bam is not far from Nosrat Abad, and Iranians are trying to make all the little towns and metropolitans close enough to Bam, Nosrat Abad and Neishabour.

For some obvious reasons I cannot type in Persian and I am not in a mood to fix the problem. That’s okay; this gives me enough incentive to write the little things I never dared to converse in my mother tongue. It would be ideal if I could invent a language with special encoding system for myself, then only I could read and decode my thoughts. Until then, I may just try to get the best use of allegory and metaphor to maximize the intricacy of my writings.

Tonight I randomly opened a page from a manual in lieu of Hafez’s omen:

Hold

When the HOLD switch is set to [HOLD], the current mode is locked and all buttons are disabled. This helps to prevent accidental pressing of buttons that can activate undesired operation and is convenient when carrying the recorder in a bag or pocket.
